‘With the theme of ’Rupali Fishery Prosperity, Bangladesh First' - a colorful rally, discussion meeting and prize distribution among successful fish farmers was held in Ratapur of Lakshmipur on the occasion of Jati Fisher Week-2026.
Sunday (August 16) around 10 am The rally was taken out by the upazila administration and the upazila fisheries department. The rally was held at the upazila parishad premises after the various important roundabouts of the rally upazila.
Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Mehedi Hasan Kaushar presided over the meeting of Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Mahafuzul Hasnain and conducted by Rural Sanchat Bank Manager Fatema Khatun.
Principal of Raatpur Government College Abul Basar, Upazila Agriculture Officer Majedul Islam, Upazila Shiksha were present as special guests in the event.
