Mominul Haque Rubel: Brahmanbai representative
Two Chhatra Dal workers were killed in a head-on collision with a motorcycle in Nabinagar, a Brahmin who had an accident in Nabinagar to Radhika Sakar's Brahmin sphere (Narui) area on Thursday evening.
The deceased are Md. Rabbi (21) and Srirampur, son of Rafiq Mita of Shyamgram of Nabinagar Upazila. Mahim Khandkar (22), son of Mubarak Hossain of the village, was injured in the accident.
According to local and police sources, two motorcycles collided in front of Narui Bridge, which were knocked down by five people on two motorcycles. The locals rescued them and took them to Brahmanbadi Sadar Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared them dead, while three injured were being treated at the hospital.
District Chhatra Dal member secretary Sameer Chakraborty confirmed the incident and said that he rushed to the hospital after receiving the news and both the victims were dedicated workers of the Chhatra Dal.
Dr. working in the emergency department of Brahmanbai General Hospital with 250 beds. Md. Sifat said that the two were brought dead in the accident and the injured have been admitted.
