The High Court has ordered the closure of all secondary and lower secondary schools from the beginning of Ramadan, which was issued by the High Court bench comprising Justice Fahmida Quader and Justice Asif Hasan on Sunday.
According to the order of the court, all secondary and lower secondary schools will be closed from February 18, i.e. from the beginning of Ramadan, instead of March 8, in Ramadan.
Earlier, the government had decided to keep the educational institutions open till a certain time of Ramadan, but the High Court gave this new directive while suspending the effectiveness of that decision.

As a result, Ramadan holidays are starting from February 18 in all secondary schools, but primary schools do not have the scope of this order.
