BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the interim government has betrayed the people, saying there is no chance of a referendum before the election.
He made this comment in the speech of the chief guest on the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of the National Socialist Party (JSD) at the meeting of the National Press Club in the capital on Friday.
The BNP Secretary General said to the interim government that the commission created by you, the commission made by you, has discussed various issues of consensus for one year and eight months. We agreed in many cases on the issue of reforms and various issues.
ie, even if we disagree, we reached a consensus on the main issue, this is the nest. When we go to the election, there will be these poisons in the manifesto. If the people vote for us, we will bring those poisons forward, change the country by passing the parliament and change the country. And if you don't vote, it will be avoided.
Alleging that the interim government had betrayed the people, he added that the day the documents of the consensus were submitted, it was raining - on the 17th. Before that, everything was in order again. We again agreed that all the political parties agreed and signed it in the rain.
But when it was presented to the chief adviser to the interim government, there were many differences, especially the ‘note of descents' that we had given, so we said -

Referring to the BNP reform party, he said, "We want to make it very clear that BNP was born through reforms. BNP was born through reforms. In 1979, the martyred President Ziaur Rahman established BNP to establish a multi-party democracy from one-party rule. Then all the newspapers were closed, he opened them, he opened them, established the fundamental rights of the people.
The BNP Secretary General also said that political reforms, economic reforms were all started by Shahid Zia. Mirza Fakhrul also said about the election and referendum.,

He also said, we want to form a government with our allies. We want to form a nation government with those whom we have worked together for 15 years, we want to form a nation's government. Let us make a very clear statement, we all take advantage of the election.
