A 50 operation was conducted against illegal pole net installations in the Meghna river in Tajumuddin of Bhola.
On Tuesday (August 26), the information and advice of the Honorable Project Director, Mr. Molla Emdadullah Mahod and the specific instructions of the Honorable District Fisheries Officer, Mr. Biswajit Kumar Dev, was conducted against the illegal pole net installation in Meghna river of Bhola district in Meghna river of Bhola district.
Upazila Fisheries Officer, Mr. Md. Amir Hossain and Assistant Fisheries Officer of District Council of District Mr. Md. Mahbubul Alam Shubo and other members of Tajumuddin Fisheries Department were present in the operation.
In the said operation, 01 set of pump machines used for illegal poles were seized. A team of illegal poles was cut and destroyed and the total 5000 (five thousand) poles were installed in the condition.
