Professor Asif Nazrul, Advisor to Law, Justice and Parliament, said that Sheikh Hasina's trial for the crime of indiscriminate genocide conducted to eliminate the July movement is officially starting today.
The legal advisor wrote in a post on his verified Facebook, the prosecution and investigation team of the International Criminal Tribunal is working day and night to prosecute the genocide.
Uploading a picture of Shahid Osim's father on Facebook post, the advisor wrote, ‘The trial of the trial of the Chhatra Dal leader and the first who gave life to the people of the July mass uprising is coming to an end.’
The advisor also wrote, ‘Sheikh Hasina's trial for the crime of murder indiscriminately begins with the prosecution team filing a formal charge in the international crime court. It will be broadcast live in various media including BTV. Our prosecution and investigation team are working day and night to carry out the work of genocide. We will follow all the due processes in this trial. Inshallah, the fault of Sheikh Hasina and other criminals will be properly tried.’
