Kamalnagar (Laxmipur) Correspondent - A woman named Shahnaz Begum Kana (50) died in lightning in Kamalnagar, Laxmipur, and the accident took place in the upazila's Charfalkan Uniton Chelamat Ullah Hawladar Bala.
According to the family of the deceased, Kalbaisakhi Jhar started around 3 pm on Sunday. When Shahnaz Begum went to the house next to Kana's house, she was caught by lightning. Later, when she was rescued by the people of the upazila, the doctor on duty declared her dead.
Kamalnagar police station officer-in-charge Tauhidul Islam confirmed the poison of death.
