Election roadmap announced in July

Election Commissioner (EC) Md. Ananotarul Islam Sarkar said that the roadmap will be announced in July for the 13th National Assembly elections. Before the announcement of the schedule, the voter list will be included for the youth who will be 18 years old. However, the existing law will not be given. For this the law will be reviewed and amended.

He said these things while talking to reporters at the Election Commission building in Agargaon of the capital on Wednesday (April 16).

Ananotarul Islam said, a self-complete and refined voter list is essential for fair elections. The Election Commission has done a beautifully updated voter list at home. We are satisfied that our target was 61 lakh 88 thousand new voters will be registered. It is seen that more than 43 lakh voters have been registered. The new 19 lakh 66 thousand voters are registered in the new year.

"I have visited several gelatos, said law enforcement, they will improve more. Law and order is improving every day. You will see that the law and order situation is much better than before.

He also said that since we are preparing for the elections between December and next year, we have less than the government announced.

The new party registration has been said to have three new parties applied for registration but they have asked for the same, so far it is decided that the applications of parties interested in getting the registration will be taken till April 20.
