Dr. in the rank of state minister. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury has been appointed as the Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor and will serve in the Ministry of Finance.
This information was informed in a notification on Monday (March 10), which said, Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury has been appointed as a special assistant in the rank of Chief Advisor of the Interim Government as a Special Assistant to the Advisor to assist Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury was given the executive power of the Ministry of Finance.
It has been informed in the notification that he will get the rank of state minister, salary and ancillary facilities while in the post of special assistant.
Anisuzzaman Chowdhury is currently working as a guest professor at the School of Social Sciences and Psychology at Western Sydney University and the Australian Defense Force Academy, University of New South Wales School of Business.
He served in New York and Bangkok from 2008 to 2016. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury has previously worked at various universities.
Besides, Anisuzzaman Chowdhury was the founding managing editor of the Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy (1995-2008) and is currently associated with its editorial council as co-editor.
