The Ministry of Education has canceled the quota order for admission to the children of the families of the victims of the July-August coup in the school admission and the government withdrew from the previous decision after the controversy arose after the order to add the quota.
However, instead of cutting, it has been instructed to keep one more seat in each class. That is, in the July mass uprising, the number of injured and martyred family members will be reserved for the admission of 1 person in each class in addition to the number of seats prescribed for lottery in the government school.
On Monday (March 3) the earlier order canceled the order and issued a new order. Deputy Secretary (Secondary-1) Mosammat Rahima Akhtar of the Ministry has signed.
According to the new order, many students were injured and martyred as a result of the mass uprising in July-August 2024. Due to the admission of their family members to the government secondary school, a new order was issued on February 20, 2025.

It is said that the children of the families of those injured and victims in the July-August coup 2024 like the Freedom Fighters Quota will get 5 percent quota for admission to the government school.
