Vice-Chancellor Naqeeb Mohammad Nasrullah said this at the reunion of the Department of Al Quran and Islamic Studies at the meeting of Islamic University (EB) on Saturday (Feb 22).
He also said that in the exchange of the sacrifice of the martyrs of the July movement, we are fulfilling the important responsibility of the government today. So we have to be united and deal with all others to make the July revolution a success with their sacrifice.Alli, alumni discussion meetings, Qiraat evenings and Islamic cultural events will be organized.
The president of the department, Professor Dr. Nashir Uddin Mizhi presided over the chief guest as Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Naqeeb Mohammad Nasrullah was the special guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M Aakub Ali, Treasurer Professor Dr. Jahangir Alam, Dean of the Faculty of Theology Professor Dr. A. M. Siddiqur Rahman Ashrafi.
The guest of honor at the event was the chairman of Akiz Group. Sheikh Mohiuddin, along with other teachers of the department, also attended thousands of former and present students. The President of the Department, Professor Dr. Nashir Uddin Mizhi.
The founding president of the Department of Al Quran and Islamic Studies, Professor Dr. Tahir Ahmed, Professor Dr. AHM Eatahir Rahman, Professor Dr. ABM Hezbollah, Professor Dr. Lokman Hossain, 1st batch student of the department alumni Nazmul Haque Saidi, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Patwari and eminent Islamic speaker Mufti Amir Hamza etc. It should be noted that the first journey started in 1985-86 of the Department of Al Quran and Islamic Studies and has completed 33 batch graduates from the current department.
