The US organization ‘The International Foundation for Electoral System-IFES’ will provide two-day training to the Election Commission (EC) officials to prevent misinformation in the election.

According to the order, the two-day ‘Strategic Communication Training’ will be held at the Election Training Institute on February 22 and 23. For this, the concerned officials will have to attend the training program as much as the program will be inaugurated by the Election Commissioner Begum Tahmida Ahmad.
In the two-day training program, emphasis will be placed on EC's lack of trust in the EC, institutional acceptance in elections, dissemination, misinformation, spread of wrong information, voter registration communication deficit, global context for increasing efficiency and deficit, acceptable presence of Election Commission (EC through social media, identification of wrong information online and encouraging content for voters, bringing transparency etc. will be emphasized.
