The 15th Scout rally of Bangladesh Scouts was held in Rakhtpur, Lakshmipur in the midst of great enthusiasm.
The rally was held at Bamni Adarsh High School ground of the upazila at 11 am on Wednesday (February 12). The rally was presided over by the Commissioner of Raatpur Upazila Scouts Branch. Taj Uddin.
Raatpur Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) was present as the chief guest. Imran Khan.
Raatpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nizam Uddin Bhuita, Ratpur Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Tauhidul Islam, Primary Education were present as special guests. Officer Md. Moinul Islam, prominent social worker and educationist Zakir Hossain Pattori, treasurer of Bangladesh Scouts Ratpur and assistant teacher of Government Merchants Academy. Omar Farooq and Bamni Adarsh High School Managing Committee member. Gita Uddin Chowdhury. Bamni Adarsh High School Headmaster Md. Humatun Kabir started the rally with a welcome speech.
The Chief Guest then made an inspirational speech highlighting the importance of the Scout movement, calling for more activeness in the discipline, leadership and social service activities of the Scouts. After the speech, the Chief Guest visited various tents of the Scouts and witnessed their activities. The Scouts participating in the rally exhibited group activities, discipline stage performances and various techniques.
Essmt teachers, parents and dignitaries appreciated the activities of the Scouts and called for such incentives in the future.
