AIG (Media and PR) Inamul Haque Sagar of Police Headquarters has said that a total of 1,775 people have been arrested in the ongoing special operation Devil Hunt, including 607 people across the country including the capital Dhaka.
He gave this information on Tuesday (February 10) evening.
Inamul Haque Sagar said that 607 people have been arrested in Operation Devil Hunt, 1,775 people have been arrested in this special operation and other operations since last night.
He also said that the weapons recovered in Operation Devil Hunt are - two foreign pistols, one LMG, one O'tan shooter gun, one pipe gun, two rounds of bullets, 5 cartridges, two chapatis, 6 daa/ramada, 13 knives/calls, one saw, three hammers, two bowls and two sticks.
Incidentally, Operation Devil Hunt started a special operation on February 8. The devil hunt announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the devil hunt, is meant to bring the scope of the law against the anti-national, terrorists and criminals.
