The Nobel Peace Prize-winning economist wants Bangladesh to become more stable and stronger.
The chief adviser said, "In the context of the situation we are taking on, I think we have come a long way because it was a completely destroyed society, a destroyed economy, a disrupted political system, the judicial system - everything was broken."
Elections are a very important step to become a democratic state. Yunus said that the most possible match of the election is the last part of this year.
Dr. Yunus said, when the elections are held, the new governments that are elected will have the opportunity to work on a stable and sound foundation.
