The air of Dhaka is still at the top of pollution in the world today with the score of the AQIA Index (AQI).
310 AQIs of Dhaka aired on Thursday (February 6) at 10 am Switzerland-based company IQUter.
So the air of Dhaka is dangerous today.
At the same time, Pakistan's Lahore 241 AQI scores are second and Kyrgyzstan's Bishkek 235 AQI scores have taken the third place.
When the AQI value of particle pollution is between 50 and 100, air quality is considered ‘medium’. AQI index is considered ‘unhealthy for sensitive groups’ if the AQI index is between 101 and 150. This is generally advisable for sensitive people not to work outside for a long time.
AQI values are considered ‘unhealthy’ if they are between 151 and 200, considered ‘very unhealthy’ if between 201 and 300. If it is more than 301, it is considered ‘dangerous’, which poses a serious health risk to the residents.
The AQI index in Bangladesh is dependent on five pollutions. They are - particles (PM10 and PM2.5), NO2, CO, SO2 and Ozone.
