On the occasion of Jatipur Library Day in Rakhtpur district of Laxmipur district, the second floor of the public library was inaugurated on the occasion of the upazila administration. On Wednesday (February 5) afternoon, Raatpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Municipal Administrator Md. Imran Khan inaugurated the new floor of the library.
In the speech of the chief guest at the opening ceremony, UNO Md Imran Khan said, “In view of the demands of the people of Rashpur, the second floor has been constructed by the upazila administration, so that the teachers and students of the upazila can read books in a more beautiful environment. This initiative is aimed at making our children and girls live a beautiful life.”
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shahed Arman, Investigation Officer (OC) Shahid of Ratpur Police Station, BNP leader Shafiqul Alam Almas, Islami Andolan leader Helal, Rakhpur Press Club President Anwar Dhali, General Secretary MR Sumon and other dignitaries were also present in the event. It should be noted that as a result of the expansion of Rathapur Public Library, students will get the opportunity to read books in a better environment, which will play an important role in the quality of local education.
