GATCO Corruption The court has fixed April 12 for the hearing of the complaint against 18 people including BNP's chairman Khaleda Gita.

Judge Abu Saitad Dilzar Hossain of Dhaka No. 3 Special Judge Court fixed this new date on Sunday.

Court Peshkar Ariful Islam Sohag told reporters that the case was scheduled for hearing in the case of the complaint but the judge fixed a new day due to the appeal of the two accused.

The trial of this case is going on in the special session set up in the Asthati Bhavan adjacent to Bakshibazar Alita Madrasa ground in the capital.

According to the document, his lawyer Sanaullah Mita appeared on behalf of the accused in the case, Khaleda Jita, who has filed a stay on behalf of the accused Tanveer Ahmed and Ghalib Hossain. Therefore, they have been asked to adjourn the hearing on the complaint of the case.

According to the case, the ACC filed a case against 13 people including Khaleda Gita, her younger son Arafat Rahman Koko and 24 people, including Khaleda Gita, who was charged with the case against 24 people including Khaleda Gita on May 13, 2008.

Among the accused, 5 people including former minister M Saifur Rahman, Abdul Mannan Bhui, MK Anwar and Khaleda Gita's younger son Arafat Rahman Koko have died, including the execution of Amir Maulana Matiur Rahman Nizami of Jamaat.
