BNP and Islami Andolan Bangladesh have agreed on 10 issues including quick elections and prevention of rising commodity prices after the minimum reforms.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said this after the two-hour long meeting at the central office of Islami Andolan Bangladesh in Paltan of the capital on Monday afternoon.
The decisions are:
1. Building national unity in the formation of independent sovereign democratic welfare state free of dominance-expansion, expansion-bad and imperialism.
2. To bring exemplary punishment to corrupt, terrorists, murderers and money launderers under speedy trial.
3. Building a national consensus on the protection of all human rights, including franchise.
4. To arrange for a fairly acceptable election in a timely manner after completing the minimum necessary reforms.
5. Preventing the rise in commodity prices and establishing the rights of people deprived of all rights and making law enforcement normalized.
6. All the anti-Awami Fascist forces will work unitedly to rebuild the country.
7 .Anti-Fascist The forces will not speak against each other.
8. We will remain politically united to ensure that no other fascist power like Awami League can come to power in the future.
9. I will not take any decision against Islamic Shariah and no one will say anything against Islam.
10. To quickly remove the allies of Awami fascism, which still exists in the administration.
"We have reached a consensus on these issues and sought the cooperation of all, including the formation of a beautiful country," said the Amir and Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim of Islami Andolan Bangladesh.
BNP Vice Chairman Barkatullah Bulu, Senior Naib Amir Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim, Secretary General Yunus Ahmed, Presidium Member Syed Mosaddek Billah Al Madani, Ashraf Ali Akon, Mahbubur Rahman, Senior Joint Secretary General Gazi Ataur Rahman, Office Secretary Lokman Hossain Jafri and others were present in the meeting.
