The Chief Advisor Professor Dr. assured that the next election will be free and fair. Muhammad Yunus on Saturday (January 4) said he had a meeting with British MP Rupa Haque at the state guest house Yamuna.
The chief adviser said that the upcoming general elections in Bangladesh will be completely free and fair.The people could not vote in the last three elections, which was a fake parliament, MP and Speaker in the past.
Professor Yunus said, people across the country have now regained their voices, their voices were forcibly taken away.
This Samat British MP Rupa Haque wants to know about the possible date of the next general election, the reform initiatives undertaken by the interim government of Bangladesh and the process of participation of political parties.
Rupa Haque said, ‘Bangladesh: I am really encouraged by seeing 2.’
Professor Yunus said that there are two possible deadlines for the next general election, one in December 2025 or 2026. But the election date depends on how much reform the people want. Rupa Haque expressed interest in coming back to Bangladesh to observe the next election.
This is the reason why the mass uprising in July started and the chief adviser highlighted the incidents of oppression of the people during the reign of the ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
