On the occasion of English New Year 2025, Tariq Rahman has greeted expatriates including countrymen.
In a statement on Tuesday (December 31), acting chairman of BNP gave this greeting to the countrymen.
"I wish you all the best and congratulations to everyone in the country and abroad on the occasion of the Christian New Year. Wishing everyone in the life of the new year to bring joy, happiness, comfort, peace and welfare.
In the statement expressing optimism in the new year, Tariq Rahman said, "We hope that in the new year we can reach a phase of the overall transformation of the country. Let us work together in the struggle to establish equality, human dignity and justice in the state and society."
Let Bangladesh move on the path of unlimited possibilities, let all the injustices, oppression and torture be removed forever. We hope to build a nation where every citizen is important and everyone's voice will be free.
Referring to the eventful year 2024, Tariq Rahman said, "The last year will be a vigilant (savier) in our minds. The past year's bitter experience, the pain of self-sacrifice and loss of rights of the students and the loss of rights will make us painful in the next year, on the other hand, the possibility of peace, harmony and the possibility of regaining the right to multi-party democracy will be painful.
‘Today we will be committed to working together to ensure the political and economic empowerment of the people, strengthening state institutions and revitalizing the economy, and revitalizing the economy. We have to be active in the application and practice of democracy acquired with countless blood loans in Bangladesh. This leader of BNP is the second leader.
Acting Cheterman said, "The anti-people's defeated forces have kept all the rights of the people captive for so long. In this situation, the work of establishing multi-party democracy should be started with the combined efforts of all democratic forces. I appeal to all the people of Bangladesh to play a leading role in regaining the right to vote democracy and voting."
