Laxmipur Press Club Elections on March 4

The election schedule of Laxmipur Press Club has been announced and the election will be held on March 4. In this light, the Revenue Deputy Collector of Laxmipur and the Executive Magistrate of the learned Department Fatema Turz Zohra confirmed the Bishta.
Earlier, he announced this schedule through a notification last (February 20) in view of the writ petition of the High Court.
According to the notification, the nomination papers for the press club election should be submitted to the returning officer at the next (Feb 25) and the final date for withdrawal of the nomination papers (February 28) will be held on the next day (February 28). After this, the press club election will be held on March 4.
It is noted that the Laxmipur District has issued a Writ Petition (506/2018) to the High Court to address the issue of the Laxmipur District Administrator in the wake of the 2018.
