At the end of the meeting, India's Foreign Secretary Vikram Mishri said that India is interested in working closely with the interim government of India, for the sake of the people of the two countries, to promote the relationship between India constructively and positively.

But he expressed concern over the safety of minorities, and he also discussed the tragic incidents of attacks on cultural, religious and diplomatic property.
