The announcement of the much-discussed grenade attack case has started today at around 11 am on Sunday, the announcement of the Raita will start in the High Court bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Saitra Hossain.
Earlier, after the hearing on November 21, the High Court kept awaiting (CAV) for the RAT declaration. Deputy Attorney General Md. Jasim Sarkar was on the state side in that court.
The hearing of the death reference and appeal hearing in the August 21 grenade attack case was started on October 31. Before that, Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Saitat Hossain were sent to the bench for the death reference and appeal hearing of the grenade attack case on October 23.
Incidentally, the case of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on August 21, 2004 was a grenade attack on Bangabandhu Avenue. This case was the case. In 2018, Dhaka Speedy Trial Tribunal-1 Rata was sentenced to death by former state minister of BNP government Lutfuzzaman Babar, former minister Abdus Salam Pintu and 19 people. Brigadier General (Retd.) Abdur Rahim and Huzi's former Amir Sheikh Abdus Salam died in 2021 under treatment.
The case was sentenced to life imprisonment for 19 people including BNP acting chairman Tarek Rahman, BNP leader Harish Chowdhury, Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain and 11 people in various cases.
