Four people were killed in a collision between a bus and a pickup in Tangail's Madhupur, while another person was seriously injured, including the pickup driver and helper. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Madhupur Police Station Emranul Kabir confirmed the death of four people in the accident.
The accident took place in front of the Malauri Government Primary School in the municipal area on the Tangail-Mymensingh highway at 5 am on Tuesday (November 19) which disrupted traffic for some time in the past few days, and the police later normalized the situation.
Police said that a Dhaka-bound Binimt Paribahan bus collided with a pickup-bound pickup in front of Mauli Government Primary School in Madhupur Municipality in Vere, which was the driver and helper of the pickup. He was killed on the spot and later injured in the pickup and took him to Madhupur Hospital where they died.
