“The slogan ”Bangladesh of peace and harmony" - this slogan was held at the initiative of the Peace Facilitator Group (PFG) at Manohardi in Narsingdi.
This dialogue was held on Monday (21 October 2024) at 11 am in Manohardi Upazila Parishad hall.
Recitation from the Holy Quran and recitation from the Holy Gita The program started under the chairmanship of Kazi Antar Kamal, coordinator of Peace Facilitator Group (PFG) Manohardi, Manohardi Upazila Nirbahi Officer Hasiba Khan, Press Club President Md Asaduzzaman Noor, Narsingdi PFG Coordinator Haldhar Das.
The event was conducted by Ripon Acharya, Field Coordinator of The Hunger Project Bangladesh, and the dialogue was read by the ambassador of PFG, Saidur Rahman Taslim, and Hasina Himu.
PFG Ambassador Upazila BNP General Secretary Aminur Rahman Sarkar Dolan, PFG Ambassador Ariful Islam Bhuya, PFG Ambassador Emdadul Haque Titu, PFG Ambassador Julekha Afroza Banya, Imams of various mosques in the upazila and priests of temples, journalists, civil society representatives and other important people were also present.
The speakers said that one of the goals of the Great Liberation War was to establish equality, human dignity and social justice for every citizen of this country.
Finally, the participants signed the declaration containing 11 declarations unanimously to protect the inter-religious harmony of the upazila.
