National Election in December: Minister of Commerce

Commerce Minister Tofatall Ahmed said, ‘Under the national elections will be held in December this year under this government, this election will be participatory."
During the election period, the administration will be conducted under the direction of the Election Commission.’
The Minister of Commerce spoke as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of Pertex Cables Limited, a member of Pertex Group, Haripur area of Bandar Upazila of Naratanganj on Saturday.
The commerce minister also said that the next national elections will be held under the current election commission, he said, through the election of Comilla and Rangpur city, the Election Commission has already proved that they are capable of conducting transparent and impartial elections.
He mentioned that our independence has been fulfilled in the midst of Bangabandhu's return on January 10. By 2024, Bangladesh will be transformed into a digital middle country. If the country is not stable, Bangladesh will not be able to take it back.
Local Member of Parliament AKM Salim Osman, Pertex Group Chairman MA Hashem, and Bank Asita Managing Director Arfan Ali were present as special guests in the event.
