A separate human chain has been formed to demand the arrest and punishment of the murderers of journalist Shah Monir Palash, a student of Lakshmipur Government College.
On Saturday (February 17) at noon, the human chain was organized in the premises of Lakshmipur Government College campus and in Rakhtpur.
Laxmipur Government College Principal Main Uddin Pathan, Assistant Professor Mohammad Yusuf, Hasibul Chiddik, Iqbal Kabir, Head Office Assistant Shahed Azgar, Students Rakibul Hasan Tamim, Machum, Altaf and Junaid Al Habib spoke in the campus premises.
Meanwhile, the press club in Ratpur has organized a human chain on the same demand, which was organized in front of the press club and the Reporters Club building.
Journalist Shafiul Azam Chowdhury Jutull, Nazim Uddin Ritad, Nurul Amin Bhuita Dulal, MR Suman and others spoke in it.
The speakers demanded speedy arrest and trial of Abu Yusuf and Abu Saeded, who were involved in the murder of journalist Palash.
It is to be noted that in the morning of the past Wednesday (February 14) in the morning, in the land dispute regarding the land in Machimnagar village of Sadar Upazila, Palash was injured by his two elder brothers Ptash in the land dispute in Machimnagar village of Sadar Upazila. Palash died in the morning of Dhaka Medical on Thursday (February 15).
