The Election Commission (EC) has been registered as a political party by the Dhaka University Student Council (DACSU) and the leader of the quota reform movement, Nurul Haque Noor's party, the People's Adhikar Parishad.
This information was informed in a notification signed by EC Secretary Shafiul Azim on Monday.
It is said that the Bangladesh Election Commission has registered the Truck Symbol for the said party until the People's Rights Council (GOP) is re-declared, and the party has been reserved for the party.
Nurul Haque, who was agitating for quota reform in government jobs in 2018, was elected VP of Daksur under the banner of Chhatra Adhikar Parishad and was elected as VP of Daksur.
At one point he joined as a party convener Awami League's former finance minister Shah AMS Kibria's son. Reza Kibria, however, was two years after the formation of the party, the conflict between the top two leaders, Reza Kibrita and Nurul Haque, was fought.
On July 1, 2023, his followers led by Nurul Haque removed Reza Kibrita from the post of Ahbat in the party's central committee meeting, but there was news of the agreement between the two sides around the 12th parliamentary elections.
