The disaster management and relief ministry said that 10 people have died in the country due to the cyclone remel.
On Monday (May 27), the ministry informed that 10 people have died as they cross the coast of Bangladesh.
They are Lalchand Mol of Khulna, Jalal Sikder of Barisal, Md. Moklesh and Lokman Hossain, Shaukat Mol of Satkhira, Md. of Patukhali. Sharif, Jahangir, Maisha and Manja Khatun of Bhola and Saiful Islam Hridt of Chittagong.
The ministry knows that Lal Chand Mol (36), son of deceased Gahar Ali Moll, who died after falling on a tree on the house of Batighata Upazila in Khulna, has died in Satkhira. Shaukat Mol (65), son of deceased Narim Mol of Shyamnagar Upazila, is on his way to Cyclone Center. He died from illness.
So far, three people have been reported dead in Barisal, including Jalal Shikdar (55), son of Azmat Ali Shikdar of Bakerganj upazila, who died while working in a nearby hotel in Rupatali bus stand area of Barisal, breaking the north side of Megha Kitchen Chinese restaurant on the south side of Lily Pompe.
