Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for Bangkok on a bilateral visit on the invitation of Thailand's Prime Minister Shretha Thavisin.
Bass report said that a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines with the Prime Minister and his entourage left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:13 am.
The plane is scheduled to land at Don Muang International Airport in Bangkok at 1:30 PM local time.
The Prime Minister's visit to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries at the invitation of Sretha Thavisin.
The Prime Minister of Thailand, Shretha Thavisin, will welcome Sheikh Hasina in Bangkok, and the Bangladesh head of government will be given a red carpet reception at the airport, and the two prime ministers will meet at the Government House of Thailand on that day.
On the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to Thailand from April 24 to 29, Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud said, ‘It is a bilateral and multi-winged trip.’
He said the visit is significant for both parties as it will open new windows of cooperation between the two friendly countries (Bangladesh and Thailand).
During the visit, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh will hold bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Thaisin and will attend the 80th session of the Economic and Social Commission (UNSCAP) in the United Nations Asia and the Pacific region.
