Islami Andolan Bangladesh held a protest march in Lakshmipur demanding the cancellation of parliament and re-election, transgender and homosexuality legalized under the national government, cancellation of the controversial new education curriculum.
On Wednesday (January 31) afternoon, the protest march started from Dakshin Temuhani and ended with a short rally in front of the Lakshmipur Press Club in front of the main sage of the city.
They said that the speakers criticized the government and said that the current education policy is making the nation stupid. The Awami government cannot bring even a small share of the voters in the election even from the 15-year power. They demanded re-election under the national government and also warned BRAC to cancel their transgender agenda.
Islami Andolan Bangladesh Laxmipur District Branch Acting President Maulana Delotar Hossain, Secretary Maulana Mohiuddin and many others were present.
