This information was known from the office of the returning officer of the district on Sunday (January 7).
Total votes in this seat 55.23 percent.
Mashrafe has won 1 lakh 89 thousand 102 votes in 147 centers. His nearest rival, former Member of Parliament nominated by Bangladesh Otarkers Party, Advocate Hafizur Rahman Hatu has got 3,410 votes.
The total number of voters in Nail-2 seat is 3 lakh 65 thousand 729. Among them the number of female voters is one lakh 83 thousand 739 and the number of male voters is one lakh 81 thousand 990. The seat is formed in 13 units of Lohagasa upazila including eight unions of Nail Sadar upazila and Nail and Lohaga municipality.
