A passenger lost his life in the fire of Benapole Express at Golap Bagh in the capital. A few people have been burnt in the fire.
On Friday (January 5) around 9 pm, the saboteurs set fire to the train, including the engine car of the train, and several compartments were set on fire.
Rakibul Hasan, Duty Officer of Fatar Service, also said that seven units of Fatar Service reached the spot after receiving the news of the fire in the Gopibagh area.
The Benapole Express train was returning from India to Dhaka.
