The Election Investigation Committee has summoned Sharmin Akhter Nipa (Mahita Mahi), an independent candidate for Rajshahi-1 seat and the independent candidate of Rajshahi-1 seat, for breaking the election code of conduct.
On Friday (December 15), the Chattermir of the inquiry committee (Joint District and Sessions Judge, Second Court) Md. Abu Saeed summoned him, which said in the letter sent to Mahi, it was reported that on December 14, he was seeking votes in violation of the code of conduct.
The Election Investigation Committee learned that the election committee had violated the electoral code of conduct from noon to evening and started campaigning in various places of Charasariadah Union of Godagari upazila and asked the voters for votes. It is said in the letter that Sharmin Akhtar Nipa (Mahi) violated Rules 6(d) and Rule 12 of 2008 in the National Assembly elections.
