Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said the world is now under huge economic pressure, and the shock has also hit Bangladesh but still Bangladesh is at ease compared to many rich countries.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the 32nd Vijay Mela at Chandpur Stadium on the occasion of Chandpur Freedom Day on Friday afternoon.
He said that Bangabandhu's daughter announced to the youth that in 2021, Bangladesh will be a middle income and Digital Bangladesh. In 2041, the young generation of smart Bangladesh will be a smart Bangladesh and the young generation of smart Bangladesh. Those students who are studying in primary, are studying in secondary. Therefore, Bangabandhu's daughter's government is working tirelessly to make them fit in 2041.
Chandpur District Awami League Vice President JR Wadud Tipu, Zilla Parishad Chairman Ochman Gani Patwari, Municipal Mayor Zillur Rahman Jewel, Faridganj Upazila former Chairman Zahidul Islam Roman and other affiliated organizations were present.
It should be noted that December 8 is Chandpur Mukt Day. On that occasion, the auspicious opening of the Vijay Mela has been completed on January 10, 2024.
