Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Saitedul Haque Sumon said, "I play football in the district and to save football in ICU. I am coming to Laxmipur to save football from ICU. And the doctor here is the match's master Salah Uddin Tipu." Today, the spectators did not just come to the field to watch the game but they came to the field to save the football in the ICU.
He said these things to the audience at Dalal Bazar Navin Kishore High School ground of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila around 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday (November 11).
Barrister Suman said, "Lakshmipur has a history of pride. I have not come to lose Lakshmipur. I have not come to lose your heart. I have come to win your heart. I have come to the field for 44 years and get kicked and kick the footballers. I will not play in the national team anymore. But leave a good football for our next generation. I believe you will stay with me.
Laxmipur District Football XI and Barrister Sumon Football Academy's friendly match was the chief guest of Laxmipur-2 Constituency Member of Parliament Nuruddin Chowdhury Nathon. He inaugurated the game and presided over by Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman AKM Salah Uddin Tipu.
