Sri Lankan cricket has been banned by the World Cricket Organization-ICC.
The ICC announced the ban on Sri Lankan cricket through a mida release on Friday (November 10) night.
The ICC said in a statement that ‘Sri Lanka Cricket is a serious violation of its commitment as a member of the ICC meeting today, and that Sri Lanka has not confirmed that there is no need to manage its affairs in an autonomous manner and that there is no government interference in governance, regulations and administration.’
As a result of which the ICC has decided to issue the ban, they also know that the ICC board will decide the terms of the ban and inform them later.
