Farid Ahmed Abir, Rajshahi: On the occasion of Rajshahi's Bagmara Jail Murder Day, a huge rally was held at the Aojani League of Trinamool Aomi League.
The rally was held on Saturday (November 4) afternoon in Bhavaniganj Aluptri ground of the upazila.
Chairman of Sreepur Union and former president of Bagmara Upazila Aomi League Maqbul Mridha spoke in the rally, Senior Vice President of Rajshahi District Aomi League and President of Rajshahi Advocate Bar Association Adv. Ibrahim Hossain, Vice President of District Awami League and former Chairman of Bagmara Upazila Parishad Alhaj Zakirul Islam Santu, former Professor of Rajshahi University and Education of Bangladesh Awami League And member of Human Resources Sub-Committee, former vice-president of Sechsevak League Central Committee Dr.PM Shafiqul Islam, member of Rajshahi District Aomi League and Metropolis of Taherpur Municipality Md. Abul Kalam Azad.

The speakers said in the rally that they called on the leaders and activists to unite and protect the continuity of the party by holding the ideals of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the four nations. They also sought the support and cooperation of all the 4 Dalits who are expected to be nominated in the upcoming elections in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
At the end of the ceremony, food was distributed on the initiative of Dota and Taherpur Municipality Meyor, public leader Abul Kalam Azad, seeking forgiveness for the souls of the victims including the four national leaders.
