The police recovered the body of a housewife Nurnahar Begum (35) from the crop paddy field in Lakshmipur. On Thursday (November 2) morning, the body was recovered from Hatem Ali's Sako area of Charbhuta village of Sadar Upazila, but the family claimed that the body was killed and the miscreants left her body behind.
The deceased Noor Nahar is the wife of a businessman Ulfat Mita of Balurtek village in Bhavaniganj Uni.S. She is the mother of two Metas and one son.
Nihar Noor Nahar's sister Parveen said, Noor Nahar was missing since evening on Wednesday (November 1. She found her at different places at night. In the morning, it was reported that her body was in a field. She used to lend money to people in interest. Someone killed her based on money transactions. After that, someone killed her in Hatim Ali's Sako area and left her in Hatim Ali's Sako area."
Motaher Hossain, a member of the 2nd Otarard of Bhavaniganj Union Parishad, said the locals found the body lying next to the field. Later, the relatives came and identified the body and the police recovered the body and went to the spot.
Laxmipur Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mosleh Uddin said the body of a woman wearing a veil has been recovered. The body has been sent to the Sadar Hospital morgue for mating and the cause of death will be known after the investigation report.
