BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has been brought to court in the case of Ramna Thana Datter (Case No-19) on the charge of attack on the residence of the Chief Justice during the mass meeting.
The case has been brought to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court in Dhaka, which has been appealed to keep Fakhrul in jail.
He was from the DB office in Dhaka on Sunday (October 29) night CMM will be produced in court.
Meanwhile, Fakhrul's lawyer has known that he will apply for bail.
The hearing will be held in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafi Uddin.
Earlier, before 9 am, the members of the law and order forces took a position in front of the Secretary General's house in Gulshan.
The DB police picked him up from the house around 9 am.
