The police recovered the hanging body of a madrasa student named Halima Khatun (13) in Natore. On Friday (October 27) around 8:30 pm, the hanging body was recovered from her body.
The deceased Halima was a 6th grade student of Telkupi Forkanita Madrasa in Khokon Mandal of Telkupi area of Chatni Union of Sadar Upazila of Sadar Upazila.
According to the family and local sources, on Friday afternoon, his parents left Halima alone and called out to the house.
Natr Sadar Police Inspector (Investigation) Abul Kalam Azad initially confirmed that it was a suicide, he said, that a case of wrongful death has been registered in the incident. The exact cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report.
