Charbhadrasan Upazila Administration and Upazila Fisheries Department has seized 2500 meters of illegal current net and 160 meters of illegal Chatna Dutari net on mobile court in Padma river in Faridpur.
Esmut 5 fishermen were arrested. However, no hilsa could be recovered.

It is known that hilsa fishing season is closed till November 2. The upazila fisheries office has said that the campaign/mobile court will be going on at different places of Padma river in Charbhadrasan for 22 consecutive days.
On Monday, the mobile court was held from 10 am to 3 pm, and the illegal current net of fishing from the Padma river was seized by the illegal current net and the illegal water net was seized by the 5th person.
