Rajshahi Reporter : Motihar Thana Police is arresting three members of the gang of thieves on the charge of stealing the house in Rajshahi metropolis. Their profession was to steal it. Yesterday Friday (06 October) after interrogation, they were sent to jail through the court, OC Rahul Amin of Motihar police station said.
The arrested are Aloka Begum (43), deceased Shukur Ali of Daulatpur area of Charghat Upazila of Rajshahi, Mizanur Rahman, wife of Mizanur Rahman of Vardhanpur village of Durgapur Upazila of Rajshahi and Mizanur Rahman (25) husband of Meem.
OC Rahul Amin said that Sathi Khatun (29) of Chauddapai area is a housewife, her husband Masud Rana Nantu (34) lives abroad. Last September 12 at noon, Aloka and Meem Bai Bhaya went to Sathi Khatun's house for Neota and this was waiting outside Mizanur's house.
Aloka said that Mizanur, who came to see Bai, gave false identification that he had a liking and asked them to make it clear to see a good look. When the house is cleaned, the mate gets some mud on the body, then the accused asks the partner to take it clean and says that he is looking at the house.
When he went to take a bath, the accused entered his house and stole gold ornaments worth Tk 56,250 in his house and then after the complaint of his partner, Motihar Thana was a case of theft.
The police entered the field to recover the money and gold ornaments of the case. Later on Friday morning, the operation was conducted based on secret information. In the operation, the Durgapur police station of Rajshahi arrested Meem and her husband Mizanur from the area.
OC Rahul Amin said, the interrogation of the arrested revealed that they were professional thieves and thieves members who used to steal through fraud by talking about the fact that they were abusive and thief in various police stations of Rajshahi metropolis and districts.
