Rajshahi Representative: A top drug dealer with heroin was arrested in the Rajshahi District DB Police operation, he was arrested from Daingpa Mozar of Godagai upazila on Tuesday (October 4), Additional Superintendent of Police Rafiqul Alam confirmed this information through a press release on Wednesday (October 4).
According to the notification, Rajshahi Superintendent of Police Saifur Rahman (PPM) under the supervision of Police Inspector Muhammad Ruhul Amin and SI Md Mahabub Alam under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police Sanatan Chakraborty and SI Md Mahabub Alam with the help of Sant Farrs (October 3) at noon on the basis of secret information at Chapainbabganj at Chapainbabganj. From the Rajshahi highway, the operation was conducted.
The DB Police arrested Dr. Drug dealer Shahidul Islam (35) with 200 grams of heroin and the son of deceased Ilyas Ali Mandal of Char Butarmari village of Shahidul upazila. After his arrest, Shahidul admitted to the police that he had been involved in the drug trade for a long time.
The police have learned that the case has been registered under the Narcotics Control Act of Rajshahi district against the arrested person and the case is under investigation.
