Ramganj Thana Police has arrested a person named Md. Jasim (40), a suspect who was found in the investigation of the case in Ramganj of Lakshmipur with a desi revolver.
Superintendent of Police Tarek Bin Rashid confirmed the poison through a press briefing at 3 pm on Wednesday (October 4).
Md. Jasim is the son of Muslim Bhatt Bair Tofatale Ahmed of East Panpaja village of No. 6 Lamchar Unit No. 6 of Ramganj Upazila.
He was arrested from Kotali police station area of DMP and after his arrest, he said that a group from Dhaka/Rakhpur/Faridganj robbed Ramganj-Lakshmipur area and kept a revolver hidden in the wooden ruit of his residence.
Based on the said news, Ramganj Police Station OC Md Emdadul Haque's instructions SI Kawsaruzzaman along with Force Neutrie today (04/10/23) at 1 pm raid, the revolver was recovered and later brought to court.
