Staff Reporter: Banani Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Salah Uddin was killed in a terrorist-police-flitting operation in a restaurant called ‘Holly Artisan Bakery’ on Gulshan Road No. 79 in the capital. Dhaka Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner of Police Sheikh Maruf Hasan told the media that Salahuddin was taken to the United Hospital in blood and the doctors declared him dead.
Holy Artisan Bakery and Nearby Road No. 79, Very Near Lakeview Clinic Police, RAB and BGB members are surrounded. RAB helicopters are patrolling the sky.
At least 25 others, including the police, were injured in the shootings and explosions around the bakery.
