Rajshahi Reporter: A man named Murad Ali Karigar (40) has been accused of killing his wife after serving 20 months in prison for murdering his father.
He was sent to jail by the court on Friday and was arrested by the police from the Puthita bus stand in Rajshahi early this morning.
Arrested Murad is a resident and profession of Tantarpur village in Charghat upazila of Rajshahi, who has been on the run since last Tuesday.
District Police Spokesperson Special Branch Additional Superintendent of Police Rafiqul Alam confirmed this information.
Additional Superintendent of Police said that Murad was arrested on February 1 last year on the charge of killing his father Sadek Ali in Pt. He was released on bail a month ago. Since he was released on bail, Murad was pressuring him to pay the money by selling 10 khata land from his wife Sheila Begum.
In this incident Shila's brother Dulal Hossain filed a murder case against Murad, who was arrested and sent to jail by the court.
