8 meritorious students of 8 disciplines under Khulna University's Science, Engineering and Technology School Deans Aureard giving ceremony today 18th September (Monday) at 3 pm Dr. The lecturer theater of the URP Discipline of the Satyendranath Bose Academic Building was held as the chief guest and the certificate was handed over to the students who received the crest and certificate of the University, Professor Dr. Mahmud Hossain.
He said, "Soon after admission to the university, students started chasing BCS, which is not the main purpose of education. Our social system has entered a kind of disease. This disease should be removed. That's why we should be able to get out of this disease.
He also said that success encourages people to achieve more success. Any award is self-satisfied. I welcome the initiative of providing this deans-air sthate in the most schools of this world to encourage them through academic results.
Dean of the School of Science, Engineering and Technology Professor Dr. Kamrul Hasan Talukdar presided over the event as a special guest, Director of Student Bishtak Professor Md. Sharif Hasan Limon, former Dean of the concerned school, also spoke. Afroza Parveen, the head of the mathematics discipline, gave a welcome speech.
