Reporter, Rajshahi: The husband of a housewife named Kohinur Begum (26) of Rajshahi has died in the fire of the house of Amjad Ali of Malipasa village in Shilma.
Kohinoor Begum died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on Friday, July 15, while her two children have been left in the hospital, while her husband Amjad Ali has passed away after receiving the news of his wife's death.
Neighbor Rafiqul Islam said Amjad Hossain is an addict, he tortured his wife without getting the money of the drug.
Upazila Shilmajita UP Chairman Sajjad Hossain Mukul said that Amjad had asked his wife for money for drugs on Thursday night. He was denied a gaslight on his body and he was later admitted to Ramek Hospital in a coma.
"I heard the incident, the poison is tragic. This is how no one can die in this way, but I have not received any complaint in this matter.
